DirectCare America, Inc. (DCA) is a
member of The Chandler Group of Companies. Founded
in 1995, DCA has quickly become one of the largest
independent healthcare PPO networks in the Midwest
as measured by number of hospital providers,
physician providers and enrollees. |

In 1983
Emerald Health Network was founded by several
Cleveland corporations, physicians, and hospitals
seeking to develop a cost effective, high quality
healthcare delivery and financing system. Effective
January 1, 1985, the first of many union groups
enrolled in the Emerald PPO. In 1991 Emerald
Health Network was purchased by management and
